Friends (and friends-of-friends)... welcome back to the Hill. The happy place.

This year we're all in for a real treat. Trust us. Trust yourself. Good times ahead.

Counting down to the countdown...

What is it?

NYE on the Hill is a 3-day (2-night) boutique music and camping festival for good-vibing, music-loving folk. It takes place in the beautifully picturesque rollings Hills of South Gippsland near Loch Village, 90mins from Melbourne, 25mins from Inverloch, 35mins from Phillip Island. Good times with great people in a stunning location. What better way to bring in the New Year.

Once again we're keeping the numbers capped to only 2,500 good-vibing folks and tickets will sell out well and truly before the event so get in quick to secure you're spot on the hill.

Tickets this year will be $249 + booking fee and include free camping, BYO alcohol, licensed bars, over 30 bands and performers, field games, street cart food, chill out areas, late night DJ's, Mr Mooyagi's Cowraoke, Dr. Pong, the Tiny Dancer, Art installations, morning yoga, good people and more.

When is it?

Gates open officially on Saturday 30th December at 2pm (If we're ready to open the gates earlier and it's safe to do so, we might!)

Gates close Monday 1st January at 5pm

Where is it?

NYE on the Hill takes place on "The Hill" on "The Farm".

The Farm is located 10mins from Loch Village and 95mins South-East of Melbourne. Kind of on the way to Wilsons Prom.

Some things to note

Due to NYE on the Hill being on a hill, there is limited flat ground. As a result, the camp-ground is located approximately 500m from the car park. You cannot camp next to your car. Arrive early to secure the flattest sleeping area!

Baggage Ferry System: Will operate from 11am to 7pm on the Saturday and 10am till 4pm on the Monday. Just like at the airport... only it's a tractor (and maybe a ute)! We do ask that you make a donation to the good people of the local football and netball club to use this service.

Yes, NYE on the Hill is BYO, however we also have four awesome licenced bars to explore while you're here. Just sayin';)

Please try to car-pool with friends as this will lower the environmental impact on the farm and make for a more fun-filled road trip.

Upon arrival at the site, you will be required to present your passes. Anyone without the required pass will not be allowed access to the event.

What to bring

Bring clothes/protection for all seasons - especially some warm ones (hope for the best...plan for the worst!).

Food and beverages (Yep. You can bring your own drinks but there are also some great bars onsite. Please do not bring any glass as this is a working farm and the cows don't wear shoes.

Delicious food and good coffee will be available from a very special selection of food outlets. If on the off chance you have to queue think of it as a chance to meet new friends!

A tent. Don't forget the tent pegs. Please note that you cannot camp with your car. The camp ground is a 5-10 minute stroll from the car park.

Sleeping gear.

Folding chair to relax in.

A torch to guide you to your tent (no street lights in the country).

Mobile phone. Coverage is not great but if you walk to the highest part of the site you might get a signal.

Any medication you require. The closest pharmacy is 20 kms away.

Cash to buy food, water and band merch (t-shirts, stubby holders, and other good-time souvenirs available). The closest ATM is also 20 kms away.

Fun stuff - Frisbees, hacky sacs, footballs, totem tennis, drums, board games etc. Fly repellent / corkscrew hat can be handy.

What not to bring

No fireworks, gas bottles, BBQs or cooking devices of any kind. There is a total fire ban day and night.

No dogs, pets or wild animals (humans included).

No bad vibes or arrogant attitudes ;)

The Farmer's good vibing hints

Introduce yourself to your neighbours early. They're probably outstanding humans and could become your life-long best friends.

Offer a stranger a drink and/or a snack. They won't be a stranger for long.

If you have the slightest urge to dance, at any time, dance.

If you don't know a band, go and check them out. They're all amazing.

Check out the 'perFARMance THAAtre'.

Have a sip in The Sipping Container Bar.

Have a tiny dance in the 'Tiny Dancer'.

Cheers the view at the 'Edge of the World' Bar.

Enjoy a sing-a-long in the 'Mr. Mooyagi' tent.

Test your table tennis skills at 'Dr. Pong'.

Don't swim in the dams. Cows hang out in there most of the year.

Take care under trees - branches can drop.

Use at least one pun while you're on the Hill.

Look out for each other. Be good to one another. We're all friends on the Hill.

Look after the Hill and the Hill will look after you.

Be generous. Be friendly. Be respectful.

Have the time of your life
